Every year, the high rise buildings in Rosslyn (the part of Arlington, Virginia nearest the Washington, DC border) illuminate their tippy-tops. Did you know there is an annual lighting? I didn’t either! And guess what? It’s tonight!
The Light Up Rosslyn ceremony will take place at 5:15 p.m. at 1100 Wilson Blvd., under the ABC 7/WJLA JumboTron. After remarks, an assembly of dignitaries will flip the switch to light up the 40 the rooftops of 40 buildings in Rosslyn.
There will also be free music performances, hot chocolate, and chili.
